Second blog post
Hello all, and welcome to another dev blog for the game formerly known as Enigma. First thing's first: The game now goes by the title "Obscurity", and likely will remain that way. The game had undergone major improvements across the board on a visual, audio and technical level. The opening level has new and overhauled scenery and the puzzles have been tweaked to be clearer and easier to understand for player. Previously broken collisions are fixed, and a heap of new sound effects are now in the game (as opposed to the 1 sound effect in the previous build). In putting in these sound effects we've also built the framework to make putting future sounds in much easier, saving time in the long run. While these improvements were being made to existing content, meanwhile a whole new map has been in development! At this point it is simply a sculpted landscape and some early designs for puzzles, very soon this will be our next level for obscurity and our first non-tutorial area for players to explore. We're hard at work creating a playable build of this area to share with players, so look forward to some new content in the near future!
